Your phone system is still the first thing most customers touch, and when it goes down the whole day stops. Coastal Computers designs, installs, and supports business phone systems from end to end, so you have one company to call for the phones, the network they run on, and the internet behind both.
We work with modern VoIP platforms and hosted providers, and we handle the parts most people would rather not think about — porting your existing numbers, building the auto-attendant and after-hours greetings, setting up voicemail-to-email, ring groups, call queues, and paging. If you already have a phone system in place, we are happy to take it over and keep it running.
A phone system is only as good as the network underneath it. Because we do the networking too, we make sure the switching, PoE, VLANs, and internet connection are set up to give voice traffic the priority it needs. That is usually the difference between a phone system that just works and one that drops calls and sounds choppy.
What we do:
- New VoIP phone system design and installation
- Hosted/cloud phone service and on-premise systems
- Number porting from your current provider
- Auto-attendants, ring groups, call queues, and after-hours routing
- Voicemail-to-email and call recording
- Desk phones, conference phones, cordless handsets, and softphones for remote staff
- Overhead paging, door intercoms, and analog device support (fax lines, alarm dialers, elevator phones)
- Network and cabling work to support voice — switching, PoE, VLANs, and QoS
- Troubleshooting existing systems: dropped calls, one-way audio, poor call quality, echo, registration failures
- Taking over and supporting a phone system someone else installed
- Moves, adds, and changes as your staff grows
- We are also very budget conscious about this. In a lot of cases we can reuse the phones you already own, and switching to VoIP usually lowers your monthly bill compared to traditional lines. When we come on-site we will go over what you have now, look at your call volume and how your staff actually works, and make recommendations from there.
Not sure whether your phone problem is the phones, the network, or your internet provider? That is exactly what we sort out. Give us a call.
